Pearl

Pearl is a brown monster with a tall head and a pink nose. She lives in a cave with Deena, whom she takes care of. Pearl likes peace and quiet, which she doesn't always find because of Deena's endless energy.

The monster duo Deena and Pearl debuted in Season 13 of Sesame Street. They virtually vanished after that season, but they have popped up occasionally.

The Pearl puppet was also used for different monster characters: for instance, Pearl was featured in a monster barbershop quartet, with a moustache.
