Londikin
Londikin is actually a name Chibiabos has re-used in several Multi-player worlds for several distinctly different characters.
Londikin of Haven MUSH
Londikin was a large male sentient wolf, called a Lupien, on HavenMUSH played by Chibiabos. Londikin's background was a hybrid of an explorer and anthropologist, called a Wanderer, whose purpose to his people was to find a new land his people had never heard of, establish himself there and learn all he could about the peoples there, then near the end of his life, return home to share with his people what he had learned.
As with all Lupien wolves, Londikin was imbued with a magical spell that translated anything he said into the native language of those within earshot. This did not assure, of course, that the fear many villagers had of wolves would be quelled and Londikin often found himself at the receiving end of mobs and would-be hunters. Though not truly a warrior, part of the training he received as a Wanderer was combat, and Londikin -- being a wolf the size of a horse -- could hold his own in most brawls and fights, generally long enough to make an escape (his general preference, as he had an aversion to killing sentient beings, though he was a very skilled hunter for his food).
Londikin of Spheres MUX
On Spheres MUX, Londikin is a quadrupedal German Shepherd of the Cigwlad realm. An industrial steam engine tycoon, Londikin designed and built the island kingdom's first ironclad steamship, and when first contact was made with the centaurs of Mythrayel, Londikin was among the first to travel to a foreign sphere to learn.
Although wealthy because of his successful steam engine factories, Londikin held no formal title. He has found eyes for a Baroness, and has recently turned management of his factories over to a steward to pursue earning a title for himself. He is deeply concerned for the Monarchy, as he highly regards the Queen -- as many Cigwladians do. He feels concerned those around her do not have the kingdom's best interests at heart. The kingdom lies in turmoil when they've been forced to realize there are, in fact, other lands and other peoples, and much of what their religious order have told them has proven untrue.
